Richelle has always seen magic in creative ideas and thrives on bringing them to life. Writing has been her greatest passion since childhood, a love that led her to earn a diploma in Print Journalism. That background continues to influence her honest, accessible storytelling, blending creativity with a strong foundation in research and clear communication.

Drawn especially to autobiographical essays, her work balances humour with poignancy. She is currently working on an anthology of personal essays exploring lived experience, identity and observational humour.

In 2025, she independently published two children’s picture books, Pasta Please! and Different is a Dandelion, distributed through Amazon, IngramSpark, Indigo, and Barnes & Noble.

She resides in Ontario, Canada, with her precious pup Zoe.

After the Blur: Finding Peace in Sobriety is a quiet, compassionate narrative nonfiction memoir about understanding why we drink and what it takes to build a meaningful life without alcohol. Rather than offering a prescriptive recovery framework, the book explores early sobriety as a human reckoning with shame, mental health, identity, and self-compassion.

Drawing from lived experience and hard-won self-understanding, it speaks to sober-curious readers and anyone who has felt out of place in traditional recovery spaces, offering a gentle companion for the journey toward clarity and self-acceptance.
